Common Questions.
Honest Answers.

Everything you need to know about billing, service areas, and what to expect when we arrive.

For Homeowners

Are you available for weekend or after-hours emergencies?

Yes. We know pipes don't wait for business hours. We have technicians on call for emergency repairs. Please call our main line immediately if you have an active leak.

Do you charge by the hour or by the job?

We use "Flat Rate Pricing." This means we give you a total price for the completed job before we lift a wrench. You never have to worry about a technician working slowly to run up the bill. The price we quote is the price you pay.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. We believe you shouldn't have to pay just to find out what's wrong. You can Book a Free Estimate directly on our calendar. We’ll come out, diagnose the issue, and give you a clear, up-front price before we start any work.

My house has old galvanized pipes. Do I have to replace them all at once?

Not always, but "patching" is often a waste of money. If your pipes are over 50 years old, fixing one leak usually just pushes pressure to the next weak spot. We offer whole-home inspections to help you decide if a full PEX repipe is the smarter financial move.

For Commercial & GCs

Are you Union-affiliated?

Yes. Xplore Plumbing is a proud Union shop. This guarantees that every technician on your job site is a fully trained Master or Journeyman Plumber who understands complex code requirements.

Do you handle Tenant Improvements (TI)?

Absolutely. TI work is one of our specialties. We are experienced in working with GCs to hit rough-in dates and manage inspections so your project stays on schedule.

Do you offer Net-30 billing terms?

Yes. We work with Property Management firms, HOAs, and General Contractors to set up billing terms that fit your accounts payable cycle. Contact our office to set up a vendor account.

What is your Commercial Service Area?

While our roots are in West Seattle, we service the entire Greater Puget Sound region for Commercial projects, including Downtown Seattle, Bellevue, Renton, and Tukwila.
